Describe your business:

Our business specializes in pizza and wings, but our concept is a bit different. We blend the flavors of the East and the West by incorporating Indian spices, cauliflower, and unique flavor combinations into our pizzas. Our focus is on adding an array of flavors to our pizzas, and we achieve this by only using the finest and freshest ingredients.

Why did you choose this profession?

Personally, I grew up in a family that was involved with pizza. It’s something that I have been around for years, and something that was taught to me.

What inspired you to open this business?

Being exposed to bold Indian flavors and Italian pizzas at a young age, I was intrigued to infuse the two together and create something unique for the world to try. This is something that my family started doing and bringing to family dinners, and that’s where it all began. Eventually, this idea grew into a business.

What was it like when you first started?

Initially, we opened the Tracy location in 2018. The brand was started by my cousin in 2015. At first, people were unsure of what to expect, but as they began to try our food, the community really enjoyed it. Our other location has been open since 2015.

What drives you to do what you do? What motivates you?

The community and its people are very important to us. Personally, when I walk around and receive compliments about our pizza, it brings a smile to my face and keeps me motivated to continue providing great quality. We prioritize having high quality ingredients and it is always wonderful to hear that someone was satisfied with our pizza.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I believe that interacting with customers is crucial because I am a very social person. Every day is different, and it’s great to build relationships with customers and get to know them. Working with my employees is also fantastic. I try to treat them like my brothers and sisters, and even my family and elders come in to take care of them. As a family business, we maintain a family environment both with the customers and employees.

What are some of the biggest challenges you face?

I suppose we would have to focus on building our brand and competing with bigger names such as branded corporate chains like Domino’s, Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, and Mountain Mike’s. We would have to take them head-on.

What are your long-term goals for your business, and how do you plan to achieve them?

Our long-term goal is to stay in Tracy, where we have been for the past five years, and continue providing amazing pizza to the community for as long as we can. We also have plans to open in Mountain House this year, as the construction is almost complete. It’s great to have the opportunity to open up there, and we hope to be a part of the MH community as well. I have been a part of the MH community, and it’s amazing to see the big crowd coming from there. We want to be a part of that community for as long as possible.
